Become a Foster Carer

What’s Involved In Becoming a Foster Carer?

There are few things that are as rewarding as watching one of these very special animals thrive and learn to to be loved in your care. Being a foster carer is a really great way to help us out here at the sanctuary as the more animals we have in the caring hands of our foster carers, the more we can bring into the sanctuary to start rehabilitation. A foster carer provides temporary homes for our greyhounds and horses that are waiting for their forever homes.

We will provide the collars, leads, coats, food, veterinary costs, worming and tick protection and you provide the home and lots and lots (and lots) of cuddles!

Who Can Be a Foster Carer?

While it is preferable that our animals go to knowledgeable breed specific foster homes, it is not essential. We require all foster carers to provide evidence of having adequate fencing to ensure that there can be no escapees and to complete the below application form with as much detail as possible.

All foster carers will have 24/7 support from our volunteering team.
